As you may be aware, Tropical Storm Isaac has the potential to impact the Tampa Bay area sometime next week.  We want to assure all employees that we have been working closely with county officials and will continue to monitor the situation throughout the weekend.  The most recent weather update indicates that the storm moved slightly west last night.  At this time, the National Weather Service is advising that we will have more information about any possible impact on the Tampa Bay area after the storm moves past Cuba (projected to occur early Sunday).

Any decisions that need to be made about school operations will be made with the most updated information possible on Sunday.  If school operations will be impacted, we will contact all parents and employees via our automated telephone system.  We will also be posting weather information on our District website, our Twitter feed and through local media outlets.  As always, the safety of our students and employees will be our primary concern.
